children, create, fabric

September 16, 2010

Breastfeeding time has become (hand) sewing time.

The rattle is made from fabric scraps and a pill bottle filled partially with rice and a small screw. The soft fabric bits on the end are fun for her to stick in her mouth and it looks fun (although Simon thinks it needs a solid handle for her to grab).

Today at playgroup it was a bit hit with a 4 1/2 month old girl, so it’s passed the test.
