This is the first of many sprocket pillows to come. I’ve completed this in 30 minutes (well, I had already chosen the fabrics and cut them, but that only took an additional 20 min) and after quite a bit of drink. This is so easy and a very forgiving pattern (thanks to cluck cluck sew!).
I made it for my daughter Bailey… she loves climbing things and I think this pillow will be a great stepping stool for her. The fabrics are a bit of a mixture– some recently purchased, some scraps and some from a vintage bag.
The back is corduroy (needs a bit of love from a lint brush) and I really like the design! Because it’s corduroy, it should be very sturdy as well.
I’ve got my next sprocket planned, stay tuned…

I think this is great. I never knew they were called sprockets 🙂
I saw this on cluck cluck sew a while back – yours looks great and sounds like they are very easy to make, might have to give it a try
