simple scrappy bunting

January 25, 2012

I have just made meters and meters and meters of bunting. And all from my scrap bin! What a great way to bust the scrap pile!

I’m hosting a tea party for the elderly (check out the SuperJam Tea Parties charity) on Friday and realized I had no decorations and no money left for any. What’s a tea party without bunting!? So this is the fastest bunting ever… hack up the scrap collection, staple (yikes, I know! but I really had no time to sew) fabric pieces onto garden twine and job done! Luckily my scrap bin was full of dainty fabric– perfectly suitable for an English tea party!

Thanks to Freshly Pieced for organizing this weekly WIP.

Looks like a really fun way to bust some pretty scraps! Clever and thrifty way to decorate for a party, too. Just lovely!
